Today, on the 10th of November, one of the biggest art events in Dubai, DIFC Art Nights, will take place at the Gate Village in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The event will last for two days, until the 11th of November, and is free to attend.
DIFC Art Nights is a blend of art, culture, and entertainment. The main theme of this November’s Art Nights’ edition (the 14th one) is “Sustainability: Art for a Better World”. Being held in collaboration with Habroosh Art Foundation, DIFC Art Nights will feature numerous exhibits by art galleries and auction houses from all over the world. Opera Gallery will be showcasing museum-scale works created by contemporary artists; visitors will have an opportunity to take a tour of the gallery. Christie’s, a famous auction house, will host an exhibition by Claude & François-Xavier Lalanne (Les Lalanne), the exceptional French sculptors.
Besides, one is invited to take part in a panel discussion on art as an investment, which is being held today, at 8 PM. The curators of the discussion are such art industry experts as Meagan Kelly Horsman, Managing Director for Christie’s Middle East and North Africa; Gilles Dylan, CEO & President of Opera Gallery Group; and Sylvain P. Gaillard, Director of Opera Gallery.
At DIFC Art Nights, apart from admiring art, visitors can also enjoy live entertainment and gastronomic delights at Michelin-star restaurants at Gate Village.
