On the 8th, 15th, 22th, 29th of September and on the 6th of October 2022, Bassem Boules will lead a series of 2-hour workshops which are part of the Drawing 101 course at Tashkeel.
The course is aimed at children from 8 to 12 years old who are ready and willing to improve their drawing skills. During these five workshops, the participants will find out how to draw from scratch with the help of their instructor Bassem Boules.
In these sessions, the participants will learn various drawing techniques and skills, including shading, volume, colour matching and perspective. Though each participant will receive individual support, they are free to experiment, make mistakes and grow as an artist. The creative practice during the Drawing 101 course will provide self-confidence, motivate creativity and help use it all to create a real work of art.
A graduate from the Faculty of Fine Art of the Alexandria University, artist and graphic designer Bassem Boules loves realism and the legacy of the Old Masters. Always experimenting with various media, the artist creates artworks both physically and digitally. Bassem Boules has experience as a freelance designer in Egypt and the UAE.
The five workshops will be held from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The Drawing 101 course will take place at Tashkeel Nad Al Sheba. The fee is AED 1,250.00 (+VAT) per person. Please keep in mind that fees are non-refundable.
