The 9th edition of World Art Dubai, which took place at Dubai World Trade Centre, concluded on 12 March after several award ceremonies during the closing days of the show. A wide range of international and emerging artists and galleries took part in the show, with more than 4000 artworks from 300+ galleries and individual artists, from more than 60 countries around the world. This four-day event brought together artists, art collectors, interior designers and art lovers looking for original art pieces.

Emerging artists and pop-art icons, fashion designers, art expressionists and fine art photographers, street art artists and performers, each with their own unique take on art, were part of the melting pot of art at the World Art Dubai 2023.

The area of Urban Art DXB was expanded and featured live street performances, VR experience, dance performance, Ice show, music and more. Visitors could enjoy live creation of murals as artists filled up the walls and rooms with colourful paintings.

“Art on the move” was the new feature at the show. A line-up of creative artists presented their latest masterpieces walking on the ramp.

Popular WAD Awards celebrated the top talents among the participating artists and galleries. Winners were selected based on their contributions across five categories: Emerging Artist Award, Solo Artist Award, Gallery Award, Outstanding Art Award and NFT Award.
