Volery Gallery in Dubai is proud to present Kaleidoscope, a debut exhibition by renowned Moroccan artist Ghizlane Agzenaï that will run through 4 October 2024. Featuring her fascinating abstract works, the show invites visitors to immerse themselves in a dazzling world of metaphysical inquiry and emotional depth, defined by bold geometric patterns and radiant colour palettes.

The exhibited artworks are intricately designed to draw the viewer into a space where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. Each piece, from its angular forms to its vivid tones, offers a gateway to a deeper exploration of self and the world around us. The immersive experience of Agzenaï’s work fosters an ongoing dialogue between the observer and the art, sparking interpretations that change with each viewing.

At the heart of the exhibition are Agzenaï’s totems that symbolise unity, positivity, and luminous energy. Made from a variety of materials, these totems exude tranquillity and benevolence. They are crafted to interact with their surroundings, infusing indoor and outdoor spaces with a serene sense of harmony. More than mere art objects, Agzenaï’s totems are symbols of joy and contemplation, offering a space for reflection and connection on a profound level.

About the artist

Visual and street artist Ghizlane Agzenaï (b. 1988, Tanger, Morocco) employs a full range of mediums and materials (wood, paper, canvas, light, concrete, metal, etc.) to produce elaborate colourful assemblies of geometrical areas and abstract lines. She refers to her creations as “totems,” a term that resonates with her intention to convey a kind, protective spirit through her art. Radiating with positive energy, her creations embody a striking paradox: while encouraging connection and unity, they inspire inward reflection and introspection.
