The Proud of the UAE campaign was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as a symbol of national unity, pride, and belonging to the country. Residents and organisations across the UAE raise the national flag over homes, office buildings, schools, and public places.
#ProudOfUAE – it is not just a slogan, but a living picture: streets shine with the national colours, each window becomes part of a single canvas, and the Burj Khalifa, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and many other landmarks are illuminated with the flag’s lights. Seven Al Fursan jets draw the national colours in the sky.
We at Open Space invite you to capture this moment: send us your photos from aerial shots of the flag performed by aircraft to street panoramas where flags adorn facades, balconies, windows, and transport. And tell us what this symbolism of unity means to you.
