Aya is a HyperSpace located in the main atrium of WAFI City mall in Oud Metha. It is a futuristic light and sound park, which combines cutting-edge technology with beautiful art and design. It creates a one-of-a-kind sensory environment that offers a unique entertainment experience for visitors of all ages. Aya is the world’s first blockchain-enabled and extended reality attraction. It is being called a physical gate to the metaverse.
There is a hope that entertainment will fill the gap left by the lack of retailers. As a result, visitors will be converted to the idea of the metaverse after having this amazing sensory experience.
The founder of this metaverse is Alexander Heller, who is the CEO of HyperSpace and a blockchain and gaming veteran. His dream is to merge the metaverse and reality. HyperSpace is a parent company, who launched a Future Forward Entertainment company that builds and operates physical parks with a digital experience.
“We chose Dubai as the destination for AYA, our first immersive entertainment park, as it is a city invested in future-culture, with a demanding and digitally active tourist and resident market. AYA has been designed to evoke wonder and awe in an out-of-this-world trip to a beautiful universe that will light up social media feeds everywhere”, said Alexander Heller.
There are 12 fully immersive zones spread across 40,000 sq ft at WAFI City Mall, each with its own unique theme and interactive elements. There are people, fashion, design and art. Travelers drift through the spaces full of million stars, gardens of blooming light and rivers of colour. They shop, attend events, play games and explore immersive worlds. On the way they can record and share the experience on their social media profiles.
Travelers to Aya are able to create their human scale avatars in holographic tanks and dance with them. They can also find and unlock new characters to interact with.
Visitors design, buy and trade wearables physically purchased in the park. They can try on digital NFT fashion items on human-scale mirrors and upload fashion items to their digital wardrobe while using in-world currency called Hypercoin.
