Supported by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, World Art Dubai is a vibrant art fair that celebrates global creativity and brings accessible art to the Middle Eastern market. As the world’s largest art fair dedicated to emerging and independent artists, it offers a unique platform for discovering new talent. Now in its 11th edition, the fair will take place from 17 to 20 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This year’s event will feature over 400 exhibitors from more than 65 countries, showcasing 10,000+ artworks available for purchase, with prices starting from just $100.

Among the key highlights of World Art Dubai 2025 is WAD Public Art, a programme of public art installations created by four featured artists: Smahane Drissi, Margarita Faizulina, Muneera Al-Subaiee, and Dr Mehrez Ellouz. The fair will also present the 7th edition of the WAD Emerging Artists Prize, the Artist in Residence Award, and the WAD Future Artists competition for talented young creators, themed this year around “Future Visions.”

This year, a standout feature is the Textile Hub, organised by Handmayk, which will spotlight textile art in all its forms, from tufting and weaving to embroidery. The hub will showcase the work of 14 artists from 9 countries, including Seong Young-Eun (South Korea), Lorena Bruno (Brazil), and Rotana Qutub (Saudi Arabia), offering a diverse look at contemporary fibre art and reinterpreted traditions.

Beyond the artworks themselves, World Art Dubai offers a wide array of engaging, art-centric experiences. Visitors will be able to enjoy live performances, from drawing sessions to a captivating Er Hu (traditional Chinese two-string fiddle) performance. Hands-on workshops will be available for all ages, with sessions such as Palette Knife Painting, Fashion Illustration, and Woodworking for Kids. The Textile Hub will also host special workshops, including The Art of Tufting and Knotty Dolls.

For those eager to dive deeper into the world of art, World Art Dubai will host a series of talks and panel discussions. Topics will range from the impact of AI on art to art collecting and navigating art as a business, offering valuable insights for enthusiasts and professionals.
