The Children’s Museum: Emotions! The new art adventure

Reading: < 1 min

Visiting the Children’s Museum at Louvre Abu Dhabi is one of the best options for a family to spend the weekend. The Museum has been holding the exciting exhibition called “Emotions! The new art adventure”, which is free for children. It will be especially interesting for younger visitors aged 4-10.

The main goal of the exhibition is to help children understand that all emotions, no matter positive or negative, are their friends.

Taking one across the three floors of the Museum, there are a lot of fun things to do: children will explore emotions by playing, listening, drawing or acting. Besides, there is also an outdoor area to relax and express your own feelings.

Within the exhibition, the secret world of feelings in artworks will be discovered. Artists from different backgrounds and belonging to different cultures have always paid close attention to the way they express emotions in their creations. It can be a particular face, a specific gesture, a specific color or shape. So the Children’s Museum invites curious young explorers to dive into the universal topic of emotions and try deciphering the messages carried in different pieces of art. Along the journey, children will learn how to identify their feelings and understand their cause.

Being engaged into activities involving body and mind, children can even become masters of their own emotions: one should collect a maximum of points and get a special reward as a result.

There’s no entry fee for children.
Adults: 63 AED.
