Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery presents Wings of Power, Ludmilla Radchenko’s solo exhibition that marks her first series created in Dubai and heralds a new artistic chapter shaped by personal transformation and cross-cultural exploration. The show will run through 25 February 2026.
The work in Wings of Power grew out of a year of introspection following the artist’s journey to Nepal, where spiritual practice and the idea of self-observation became central to her creative process. At the heart of the series is a dynamic interplay of symbolism: recurring animal figures embody the raw forces of human instinct and the Seven Deadly Sins not as moral judgments, but as elemental aspects of the psyche. The titular wings function as metaphors for awareness, elevation, and transformation, suggesting the courage to confront one’s shadows and the strength to rise above them.
Wings of Power offers viewers an immersive reflection on identity, transformation, and the inner journey: an invitation to contemplate both personal and universal dimensions of strength and vulnerability.

About the artist
Ludmilla Radchenko is an internationally recognised pop artist, painter, and multidisciplinary creative who has lived and worked in Europe for many years. She obtained a diploma in Fashion Design in 1999 and initially gained broader public attention as a model and television personality before dedicating herself fully to art in the late 2000s.
Through painting, photography, collage, and layered cultural references, Radchenko creates works that are both emotionally charged and visually striking, presenting moments of tension between instinct and consciousness, descent, and ascent. Her practice blends pop sensibilities with social commentary, often incorporating vibrant colours and symbolic imagery.

Radchenko’s work has been shown in major galleries and art fairs across Europe and the USA, and she has published books on her art, including *Power Pop* with Skira-Feltrinelli. Her global career encompasses exhibitions in Milan, New York, and now Dubai.
