Line of Infinity is a solo show by British-Chinese artist Jason Ho, which is presented by ESMB Gallery. Being held at the Foundry Downtown art space, it is the artist’s first exhibition in Dubai. One is welcome to admire his engrossing works until the 29th of September, 2023.

Ho’s architectural background rooted in Bauhaus and Art Deco has a deep influence on his distinctive art style. In his acrylic paintings, which he creates by masterfully using light, fine lines, and soft gradient palettes, the artist explores thresholds, dimensions, and various architectural forms. Pleasing to the eyes, his intricate compositions portray exquisite interplay between the world of dreams and tangible reality.

The artist draws his inspiration from abstractionism and symbolism as well as travelling. His art pieces are imbued with the natural wonders and the essence of the places he has been to. Ho’s art is also profoundly influenced by such prominent figures as Le Corbusier, a Swiss-French architect and designer who is considered one of the pioneers of modern architecture, and George Braque, a French painter, printmaker, and sculptor. He played a crucial role in the development of the Cubism art style.
