The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) will take place from the 24th to 27th November. ADIBS is the most important event for Abu Dhabi and the whole region. The show is for all marine industry professionals and for the family seeking a great day out or a weekend.

On the exhibition, there will be over 350 brands, across an array of categories including boats, yachts and superyachts; marine products; water sports; fishing equipment; boat construction, repairs and equipment; marine services; and boat and yachts interiors, architecture and design. It will not only show the latest from the boating industry, but will give the visitors the opportunity to immerse into the rich cultural life of the region.

The visitors will also have a great chance to discover Louvre Abu Dhabi, the biggest art hub in the region.

“The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art museum located on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It runs under an agreement between the UAE and France, signed in March 2007, that allows it to use the Louvre’s name until 2037, and has been described by the Louvre as France’s largest cultural project abroad”, says Wikipedia about it.

It is a great opportunity to explore the growing collection of Louvre Abu Dhabi, while visiting the international boat show.

According to the statement on the museum’s website, Louvre Abu Dhabi focuses on what unites people: the stories of human creativity that transcend individual cultures or civilizations, times or places. Presented across 6,400 square metres of galleries, the museum’s growing collection of treasures includes important artworks and artefacts spanning the entirety of human history around the world. It includes ancient archaeological finds, decorative arts, neoclassical sculptures, paintings by modern masters and contemporary installations.
